| Take your candle and go light our beloved nation. Our Sibu Catholic Diocese has, on 6th October 2014, with the approval of our Bishop Joseph Hii, registered as a participant of the call by the National Evangelical Christian Fellowship Malaysia to pray for and to transform our nation through round-the-clock prayers for 2 years – as our church views seriously the disturbing and unsettling events recently plaguing our country.Our registered slots are from 6am-7am in the daily mass and 9am-10am in the Iban Sunday mass. We encouraged all Catholics to be fully committed by either attending these masses or praying individually or as a family at your own home during these registered slots or any other slots which are more convenient for you and family. As Christians and God’s people in Malaysia, we live, pray and labour in hope to be a blessing to our country!

24-7 Prayer Scheme: The Christian Denominations have committed to 24-7 round-the-clock prayers for the nation Malaysia. The Diocese of Sibu has taken the slot Do come and join in the prayer (in the Cathedral). You can commit to pray on your own.

Sembiang 24-7 siang malam: Semua Gerija udah setuju nyebut Sembiang 24-7 siang malam kena besembiangka menua Malaysia. A) Hari Satu sampai Hari Enam pkl. 6 pagi ngagai 7 pagi, lebuh sembiang pagi, Misa enggau Rosari tiap hari, Datai meh lalu enggau kami besembiang (dalam Katederal). Nuan mega tau besembiang ke menua kitai nitih ba atur nuan empu.
